Found a minor bug which was potentially causing the issue with logging in [b122d48](https://github.com/entity-toolkit/entity/pull/112/commits/b122d489fdf06e5575d11890ce6908989e48e7ae).
Fixed in #112 (reopen if still doesn't work)
this will be fixed in v1.2.0 release. for now, just add before cmake `HDF5_ROOT=/opt/apps/gcc13/hdf5/1.14.4 cmake ...` (or alternatively just `export HDF5_ROOT=...`)
