The problem boils down to our [type propagation rules](https://help.tableau.com/current/api/hyper_api/en-us/reference/sql/datatype-numeric.html#DATATYPE-NUMERIC-DECIMAL) for numerics. So right now, Hyper is behaving as specified/documented....
