Any time generics like map or list were used with protobuf for Pulsar it gave parsing errors so depending on current workflow it might need backporting
This one #743 should cover it
Took me 2 days to debug this 😄 , rhis is a bug in Pulsar or it's just enforced by new versions of java in TrustStore and Pulsar didn't set...
