I previously had this problem while using MATLAB (R2018b and R2019b) on my computer (MacOS). Now this bug had been fixed in the latest version (2020).

@simas232 in my case, no need to do anything under R2020a.

The expected changes from issue is too complicated to implement, a feasible solution with practical steps is thus required.

EC number changes but not frequently. @FaribaRoshanzamir please go ahead to update this if provided with evidence.

@pecholleyc nice to have this issue. This should be a long-term thing and it will take some time to fully resolve the reaction names. Might be good to begin with...
