The same is happening on Arch Linux + KDE Plasma 6.0.4 using English letters. Kernel version: 6.8.9-arch1-2 (64-bit) Graphics platform: Wayland
Even on very low resolutions it does poorly. Need to wait for someone to implement a new (and actually open source) driver but until then, I guess our best bet...
