UTF is currently not supported.
Thanks for taking time to contribute. It doesn't work for me for some reason though, I built it and added few feeds, clicking tab after typing doesn't really do anything...

@betim Sorry, I think fix for KDE/Gnome disappearance issue broke i3wm behavior. I just pushed a commit that fixes it. Can you please try again and let me know how...
