Is there any option to set TERM environment variable? What should be best value to set if I want 256 color enabled? 'vte-256color' or 'xterm-256color' or any other values?

vim not able to change the title

I have enabled the option WINDOW_TITLE_DYNAMIC, bash is able to set the title, however, vim is still not able to set the title.
