as far as I know, yes internet access is required. I haven't done any testing without internet access at all.
currently wz_mini **_needs_** iCamera. We hook the functions coded inside of iCamera to pass video to the rtsp server, so all the magic is done inside iCamera, without it nothing...
I will run a test on a spare camera, and see if I can examine the logs to see what it uses as a check for internet access to prevent...
does anyone have an approximate time (hours?) of when the camera will reboot?
