What if GetString returned string(v.GetStringBytes())?

Sorry to add yet another '+1' type of comment, but seeing how this is two years old, I felt perhaps it would be necessary. I'd love to have this feature...

Commenting so the bot doesn't close it. Per above comments, there's no easy/straight forward fix, but I'd like to keep this open, unless you all strongly object.

It sounds very similar, but in my case, I rarely have more than 2-3 integrated terminals open at once.

Just had this happen when I alt-tabbed back to a VS Code window (no other instances running) for a local workspace with a lot fewer files than the large mono...

Same, seeing it on 1.7.0. I'll try with the arg.

Also same after adding the startup arguments. I had 1 terminal open FWIW. Same symptoms. Display frozen, but audio still works (ex. if music was playing from another app).

Anything we can do to help debug this? Still an issue on 1.70.2.
