That sounds like a good compromise, if you don't mind me asking, why would you want to run Orbot instead of using the integrated solution? is this for specific configuration...

Can you setup a breakpoint on the `didReceiveRemoteNotification` method and see if it goes through there once you receive the notification?, that will tell us if you are not receiving...

Well, I'm pretty sure I tried all the possible push notifications scenarios while developing the plugin, in any case I will definitely take a look this weekend.

I think @InViZz refers as priority as the GCM option: https://developers.google.com/cloud-messaging/http-server-ref

Yes, I'm actually updating the iOS side since this pull request broke that functionality. I expect to have it ready by later today.
