I'm also surprised. Flashed 2025.10 today and for me it works now. But in parallel I also changes from Arduino IDE to ESP-IDF. Seems to work now...for some unknown reason......

I got Firmware 0.0.0 only one time directly after flashing. After that it workes now every time (for me) [21:21:50.800][C][ens160:278]: ENS160: [21:21:50.800][D][ens160:300]: Setup successful [21:21:50.800][I][ens160:303]: Firmware Version: 5.4.6

My issues also came back with 2025.10.3. Cleaning build files did not help, but I can confirm that changing I2C speed to 400kHz instantly worked for me too.
