You may also use `help2man` on the formatted help string of each tool. They can also be created with sphinx if your prefer writing them in plain text.

Indeed, just check for the obvious things. If nothing stands out, then I'll leave the investigation up to potential porters.

As an FYI, we have a student working on integration with nipype. I have yet to use MITK but sounds like a nice tool.
