I think it would be sufficient (and easier) to let the user edit the sci-hub link in add-ons preferences.

Mine includes history only--no bookmarks. (are your bookmarks actually history?) I'm on 57.0.4. Same problem since 57 was released, possibly earlier can't remember. ![screen shot 2018-01-11 at 4 04 40...
