I would like to suggest removing `isReady()` completely or at least make it an option one can disable. Is it possible that the line in the data sheet was misinterpreted?...

Since it says Fixed by [#975](https://github.com/pop-os/shell/pull/975), I'd like to point out that this bug (or a similar one) still exists. However, after unlocking, the external screen was disabled in gnome-settings....
