Got the same bug here with almost the same AP+Mesh config (a BPI-R3 and a WAX206). Strangely, even if the 5GHz radio is configured with AX/HE160, iwinfo on both devices...

When connecting the WAX206 as a WDS client to the AP (BPI-R3), AX/HE160 is in use:
