The thing is pychess has its own panel dock system implementation (created by the original author Thomas Ahle) in https://github.com/pychess/pychess/tree/master/lib/pychess/widgets/pydock Idk GTK has anything similar.

Maybe your ISP/country restricts something pychess needs? I tried on my son's iPhone 13 Pro, Safari and it worked OK.

Possible your computer/OS/browser is not configured correctly, or your ISP blocks something. At least other users from Russia doesn't reported issues.

Yea, it was not deployed yet. I tried it on DEV site https://pychess-variants-dev.onrender.com/ but somehow it doesn't work. I think it should though. Pychess server is running as standalone server on Heroku atm. https://docs.aiohttp.org/en/stable/deployment.html#aiohttp-deployment
