You definitely can. There is a [WASM port of ImageMagick](https://github.com/KnicKnic/WASM-ImageMagick) available, and [libsquoosh](https://github.com/GoogleChromeLabs/squoosh/tree/dev/libsquoosh) which powers [squoosh.app](https://squoosh.app/). Squoosh has good support for AVIF #44 😉
