upvoting this, the issue still exists.
Even I am facing a similar issue.. it works fine with Gen 2 Echo Dot but gives device not responding with Echo Dot Gen 3 Device.
what does it mean if https doesn't work but http work?
@patrickjahns I agree with your point. but there are many cases where these nodes are behind firewalls and cant access them from internet. the current logic is inspired from cloudalchemy...
I didn't get a chance to do it. but i have been using this modified version. I will let you know once i get a change to try it out.
