Looking into this a bit more, github is against using the ssh method as it not as secure as https. Looking at how to support this without adding too much...
@plunkettscott https://help.github.com/en/github/using-git/which-remote-url-should-i-use https is the more resilient it seems. ssh is still a valid push mechanism, looking into adding this.
I agree, we could make this an option that could be "enforceGitSuffix"? Thoughts on what it would look like for opt-in behavior?
Is there a move to have compiled binaries for all archs?
