Btw, other user reported that add-on version of 0.8.1 was working perfectly for him, can you also validate this on your end?

`Only a single instance is allowed` error is something expected as long as it continues with installation.

Do you know which codec you are using? You can see in the logs when image is broken. Edit: do you notice any improvements after updating into new version?
