Solved by #7527 for v4: It displays the default language if language prefix are disabled for it.

@adlh Static placeholders are replaced by aliases in django CMS 4. They have their own editing endpoint from django CMS 4 on.

In filer 3.x plus SVG can be fully deactivated.

@petrklus @wiltso Can we close this issue after the fix has been merged and released?

I put it on our sprint list for tomorrow and Friday.
