@dkropachev what was holding us from merging this one ?

@dkropachev we need this merged, without this one, and the move to use scylla 5.4, we can't install scylla anymore. cause of the java lookup is broken

I guess we can easily cache this property, it's not something that can change during a test, we never reconfigure networks in the middle of a test
