Switch mode only when caret is between the start and end tag, not on them

:+1: This is even more important when using js2-mode as it will complain on HTML treating it as invalid JavaScript code :)

Suggestion: return an atom indicating the response rather than a struct

Using a tuple with first element indicating success/failure is idiomatic in Erlang and Elixir so I too would request to follow this pattern here. Ruby doesn't have pattern matching :)
