Turn off autotool. It doesnt know which tool is best for like glass so it just keeps looping. Disable auto tool and it will work. write back if it works...

and have all tools in your hotbar, hoe, axe, shovel, pickaxe, sword if you have autotool on. It can mine most stuff no problem.
