I think it's because google delist apps that have not been updated for 2 years or longer. :( It's still available on [fdroid](https://f-droid.org/en/packages/io.github.hidroh.materialistic/)

I'd suggest using the [f-droid repository](https://f-droid.org/en/packages/io.github.hidroh.materialistic/).
