Stomp Boots Should Slow Player Movement and Make them Drop Faster

Me and my bros were thinking that stomp boots should slow you down a little and make you fall faster. Does that make sense to you?

I don’t think they should make you slower, because that’ll make it too easy for armed opponents to kite you.

We could consider adding a minor speed penalty to all equipped items, unless they’re labeled Light. This is a system we would need eventually anyways (it’s possible we even had it in legacy) for Heavy equipment, such as a large cannon.

Duck Game does the same thing with a few weapons, e.g. the minigun.
