Danimo did that in voctomix2. I think he's still working at it.

Good idea. I'm also working on a preview step where you can see the upcoming composite.

In voctomix 2 also custom cropping is an issue to display border lines. So that you're able to setup the camera to fit into the cropping before switching the composite....

In voctomix 2 I've thrown even away the TCPSingleConnection and used Gtk's tcpserversrc which I'm not sure about if it was a good idea. What do you think about exporting...
