There's a patch to fix some blocking code in the wifi ... I am hoping this might be helpful for this issue: https://github.com/meshtastic/firmware/pull/6983
Hi @madeofstown , we've made some changes to factory reset over the past couple months. Could you give it a try again with the latest firmware?

Did you get any logs when connected to the serial monitor? They'd really help us to work out what's going on.
As @nasiralamreeki says, there is a new firmware preview for T-Deck that is a significant improvement, I recommend trying it out: https://meshtastic.org/blog/meshtastic-2-6-preview/ !
