Hi Steve, haha I'm not sure. If there's a way to mount S3 as a drive letter it might work, but I'm guessing it would be very slow.

Thanks for reporting this Watt! You're right, it doesn't work. Files created using `ftpuse` don't seem to support setting the file's length on demand, nor writing to specific file positions....

Preallocated files results in 15% bandwidth improvement (measured using iperf)
