Preallocated files results in 15% bandwidth improvement (measured using iperf)

It's still not as stable as I would like. When storing the shared files on NFS, it seems to stop working after a few hours of RDP with this error:

On Windows: 14/09/2024 1:12:43 PM: [2.dat] ReceivePump: The semaphore timeout period has expired. : 'X:\2.dat'

Explorer also takes a while to open X:\, and HxD is slow to read the files.
