i think there is no speed gain if (as it is now) thhe nominatim extraction is within the phrase extractor, because by definition the phrase extractor retrieves geopositions (using nominatim)...
should be integrated with `preprocessor_core_nlp.py`

Oh, my bad! I just uploaded the master branch as a new version to pypi. Could you check whether this fixes #63 ?
Strange, also that there's no error in the log! When not using the CLI mode but the library mode (see readme.md) does the extraction work for you?
