@j4james Changing the keyboard layout to US did solve this issue in a new Terminal. For reference, I'm using the Swiss German layout as default.

Adjust Roles to enable collection import using galaxy-install

I suppose I jumped the gun somewhat, as the implementation for roles is covered by #1493 . However that Issue seems to still be missing a galaxy.yml file.
