A couple of issues have been opened on Google Issue Tracker: https://issuetracker.google.com/issues/178029596 Hopefully Google takes notice soon.

This issue shouldn't be closed if it's not resolved, it's still a problem.

Sorry for not realizing that, then perhaps the readme and wiki should be updated to reflect that.

According to the documentation, version 4 of the plugin allows the use of setExternalVideoSource: https://docs.agora.io/en/video-calling/develop/custom-video-and-audio?platform=flutter
