I'm not aware of any way to auto-switch the user's default launcher, root or otherwise, but if I do figure out a way to do this I would definitely look...

@Blakenidby For desktop mode, the correct command to use would be `adb shell cmd package set-home-activity farmerbb.taskbar/.activity.HSLActivity`.

Which device are you seeing this issue with? On two of my devices that don't support SIM cards (Nvidia Shield and Pixelbook), the mobile network icon is successfully hidden.

Definitely like this idea. Not sure if I'll have time to get this into the next release, but I'll for sure keep this in mind afterward.

Try going to "Recent apps" -> "Enable/disable usage access" and then set Taskbar to On in the menu that should appear.
