Well, I kinda liked how https://github.com/python-gino/gino/tree/obsolete-2.0 was designed to support both asyncio and Trio, but now that SQLAlchemy 1.4 supports asyncio officially, we don't have to do that all over...
We've updated the [FastAPI tutorial](https://www.edgedb.com/docs/guides/tutorials/rest_apis_with_fastapi) with edgedb-python [1.0+](https://github.com/edgedb/edgedb-python/releases/tag/v1.0.0), so that you don't necessarily need to define return models.
Since 1.0 we started to use the built-in `tuple` type in Python.
Circling back on this - we are discussing to add a Python entrypoint to run migrations without the CLI.
The codegen will likely be the main way to use for at least the Python binding, this is also demonstrated in the [3.0 launch event](https://youtu.be/bqD5CThzmw4?t=1437).
