I don't mind either way. It just doesn't make sense to leave the dir incomplete if it's going to remain.

Looks like there is at least some movement on the Guix `1.4.0` release front. A [commit this morning](https://git.savannah.gnu.org/cgit/guix.git/commit/?id=839950c4a9925bf3d7108cb8533be37b185fb8bd) added: `* NEWS: Update entries for v1.4.0.`.
