Verified for me - SysRescue 12.0 does not work on Ventoy 1.1.05 (same black screen with tiny cursor as others have noted). SysRescue 11.03 works on Ventoy 1.1.05 for me.
SysRescue 12.01 now works properly with Ventoy 1.1.05
