Drone shoots straight up when mav_with_keyboard.launch is launched

Open raghavthakar opened this issue 6 years ago • 4 comments

Whenever I launch, the drone spawns without problem. Even the propellers spin, and I'm able to control roll and pitch. However, the moment I touch the throttle, the drone shoots straight up out of the frame and I'm unable to control it. Additionally, yaw cannot be controlled.

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Thanks Raghav

I hope this will help someone. I think the zero of throttle is in the middle of the bar like the figure below shows. Lower or higher will control the drone to go up or down. It's like a PID control, and keeping it in a constant offset value might shoot the drone into the sky. You can use the Edit--Reset Model Pose to reset the drone back to the original position without restarting the Gazebo. Screenshot from 2021-10-26 15-25-47
