@SV1CAL Not my code, just found a long time ago. There is satdump_recorder in build\tools folder for recording baseband. It would be nice if that supported a timeout.

Did a quick check, on a 30 minute gvar file, one image set's data, there where 1317 BLOCK0 transmissions, where first 278 bytes passed XOR validation and decoded data verified...
On second thought, the "now - 30 minutes" would be great for full images, but might be an issue for smaller images or non-full disk images?
