This is a pretty nice option to have, particularly given the fact that e.g. emacs is notoriously slow and enabling this option will speed things up a fair bit.

The default notification pop-up opens in the top right. It should probably open in the bottom right so it is near the panel?

This is looking like a giant PITA if the arch PKGBUILD is anything to go by. But definitely worth it.
