Version 9.10 now supports extended heights, from -128 to 511. More or less. See [the release notes](https://github.com/erich666/Mineways/releases/tag/v9.10) for limitations.

The workaround, of course, is "do it yourself": export using the "Export tiles for textures" option and replace the tiles by hand. Good times.
Thanks, @L33Tech. That other pack is surprising, I'm not quite sure how they use only five textures. I suspect there's some on-the-fly compositing or other trickery to make that work....
