This will handle PE files nicely. However, there are often times that scripts and config data are also written to the registry. It would be good to handle these instances...
Something else to consider, the binary maybe be obfuscated as well.
This happens on a 32-bit and 64-bit VM. Base install with and without IE tweaks.
I'll check the IE build version. I've downgraded to IE 8 on two VMs and no errors occur.
