Ok, yes, the `slabs only` restores expected behavior because the server is running Carpet without CarpetExtra. So, I guess just waiting for improvements so I can open containers with EasyPlace...

This can't be done without a server mod because the game places certain blocks based on your facing direction.

I put what I've been working on up [on github](https://github.com/end-user/QuICK.git) for cloning. I'm sorry I don't understand how it should be integrated under the project tests.
This issue is still open and still seems relevant. Is there a workaround or a fix? How can I apply custom methods to nested model objects?
