In Linux world JACK is used a lot, and Jamtaba is ALSA only at moment. An user reported by email ALSA + JACK integration is not working too.
Save stereo local audio (wave or ogg) to quick listen the jams. If the user need mix and retouch the multitrack can be used.
Jamtaba is being compiled with ffmpeg 3.4.2. The current ffmpeg stable version is 4.2.2. Updagra can fix some video encoding/decoding issues.
The idea is add output selection in metronome configuration panel. This feature is usefull for people are streaming the jams to avoid stream the metronome.
