Downloaded vanilla Firefox on the same machine and did not have this problem. Seems to be specific to Developer Edition.

OK, let me know if there's anything I can do to help. I had a few other extensions (pinboard, 1password, ublock origin, xdebug) and just now tried disabling & reenabling...

Moved to a github checkout instead of a downloaded version. Same issue. New version.known: ``` version = '1.3.1' build = 2020120201 ```
