It may be more readable but the complexity is higher since your callback has to get run at every step, where the pauseAfter allows you to stop at specific points...

There are a couple pull requests to add preStep/Ride callbacks, including mine :). The index is always the first parameter sent to those callbacks.

I'm confused. The css that comes with the source includes a class "joyRideTipContent" that is meant to be added to your <ol>. All it does it keep the <ol> hidden....
