I semi "solved" that. It looks like that stats only gets updated when the UI was triggered by a refresh button. So I ended up with a super crap solution...

Ok I got this working. The no-op encoding did the trick. But I am too stupid to passthru a "full route" This feels a bit clumsy for the URL parameters....
