I had a look in the old format docs and couldn't see documentation for `pkg/offline`. Did it exist before the change to read the docs?

@antonimmo - it probably should. There are lots of fields with 'zonal' or 'meridional' in the name that should be changed to 'local +x direction' and 'local +y direction'.

I'm in favour of presenting and explaining both python and Matlab analysis scripts for these tutorials. Beyond that, I don't think we should be documenting external libraries in the MITgcm...
