When it crashes, there is a dialog right after Sketch open up again. Anyway - This is a performance problem which we gonna solve in the next version.

Get crazily slow with big files, maybe states should be assigned only for certain layers...

You can add states to a symbol on the symbol board, since it functions like artboard as well... But not yet select different instance for the same symbol. Probably going...
