@kablek I am not sure if that something you gouys would be looking at, but the software from MKS is quite decent. Now that processors match between mks and V2.00...

@Quas7 Though if you set [hold ](https://github.com/makerbase-mks/MKS-SERVO42B/issues/7#issuecomment-732291082)current to maximum, the close-loop can be driven same way as open-loop motor. It would need to be run at open-loop motor manner (i.e....

I updated to v10. Seems like they updated libraries finally. But there is issue with [product line](https://community.platformio.org/t/compilation-failure-using-platform-ststm32-10-0-0/17491/3) thingy on some mcu. Intresting. I tried building the stuff: - My branch...

I wonder if BEMF could have kill it. Because when I drive the motor from the output fast enough, the MCU resets. @Quas7 Do you have idea why is it...

The damage was due to lack of protection against BEMF and reverse polarity protection not allowing to sink current back to power supply. @bigtreetech V2.1 could be improved. I added...

My magnet is 0.3mm from the sensor and it seems to work fine. I also tried 1.7mm and 2.3mm and seemed the same. The key is to arrange phases as...

Yes. Some motors are wired differently, and the firmware doesn't have implemented the wiring recognition. Yeah, people should try swapping two wires at a time.

Swap one one of the phase polarity or DirPin direction in the menu: https://github.com/bigtreetech/BIGTREETECH-S42B-V1.0/issues/33#issue-740859328

Or one can change DirPin direction in the menu. Edit: sometimes the phases need to be rotated no matter the setting.
